I just have used other brands that yes may cost more but overall better fit what I'm used too. Overall, if you're just wanting something at a good price point that's not going to break the bank and you're also just a casual rider or new to the sport, it should be fine. Personal preference perhaps but I think it causes problems when you put things in your back pocket and those are in the way. I only used it the one time and it constantly snagged on the material.ģ)I don't like the cords that are in the back pocket. I was pretty warm after only about 10 minutes into my ride and I was cold before setting out.Ģ)The zipper does get caught pretty easily. Yes it blocks wind which keeps you warm in cold conditions but if the jacket doesn't breath, you're going to burn up in no time. I was having to regulate the zipper, along with my jersey zipper, way too much just to release body heat that was being trapped in the jacket itself. Now, before I get into the cons let me say the positives:ġ)The price is great! Seriously, shop elsewhere or bigger name brand jackets and you'll easily be spending $70 if not $100 plus for a lightweight wind protection barrier.Ģ)It is lightweight and manageable enough to fold up to fit in a jersey pocket if needed.Ĥ)Colors are very bright which allows you to stay visible to drivers.ġ)Like some others have said, this jacket just doesn't breath. I tried this jacket out during a day where the weather was right around 50 degrees.
